Almost 10% of young people in Ireland leave school with no qualifications. That means one in six young people continue to leave school without a Leaving Certificate qualification, amounting to almost 9,000 young people every year. Many others fail to realise their potential because they don’t see a future for themselves in the working world.
With the support of more than 150 leading organisations, Junior Achievement Ireland brings business into the classroom in 600 primary and secondary schools nationwide. Our structured enterprise, science, maths and life skills programmes are delivered by our team of 3,000 business volunteers, reaching out to over 70,000 students each year!
