SAP SSC (Ireland) Ltd. Galway recently hosted 50 Transition Year students from Archbishop McHale College, Tuam; Presentation Secondary School, Galway and Mercy Secondary School, Tuam at their Galway facility as part of the GMIT Future Skills Project.

SAP volunteers Grace McNally, Padraig Devery, Gesine Stanienda and Hayden Simpson shared their personal career experiences and facilitated workshops on topics including: cultural awareness, career development pathways and employability skills.

In learning more about the various functions – Business1 Support, Cloud Support, CIC and PSD – the students came to see the range of roles on offer and the benefit of having language and digital skills in pursuing careers in SAP Galway.

SAP SSC (Ireland) Ltd. partners with Junior Achievement Ireland, a non-profit organization, to bridge the gap between school and the working world by reinforcing the importance of education and exploring the types of opportunities to which students may have access as they progress through the formal education system.
