Well done to the Youth Reach learners in Ballincollig, Bandon, Knocknaheeny and Macroom who combined calculated risks with innovation, creativity and teamwork to develop new products during a five month Entrepreneurship Programme developed and delivered by Junior Achievement Ireland; a Cork Education and Training Board initiative.
With product prototypes and enterprise pitches the learners secured Youth Reach Entrepreneurship Awards. The judges were impressed by the students’ curiosity and innovation and applauded the diversity of the products that ranged from dramatic hand crafted, high end broaches to Crow proofed Bird Feeders and a Satirical Comic series to bespoke homewares.
