Sarah Cunningham is Vice-President and lead of Mastercard’s European Technology Hub, where she is focused on growing the impact of Mastercard’s Dublin operation which has over 750 employees, the majority of whom are technologists dedicated to global projects shaping the future of payments technology. Sarah has also been a Board Director for Mastercard Ireland since July 2018.
A senior Strategy, Innovation Management and Marketing leader, Sarah has over 20 years’ experience, gained in companies including Mastercard, Google, CapGemini and Accenture. She is a staunch advocate for diversity and inclusion in the workplace, and passionate about mentoring and coaching the future generation of up-and-coming talent. Sarah is a strong believer in the importance of continuous education and has recently commenced a part-time Exec MSc in Behavioural Science at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys hiking with her husband. Over the years, she has hiked in the Himalayas, Lesotho, Peru (the Inca Trail), Spain (a leg of the Camino), the Alps and of course, beautiful scenic Ireland.
