Senior infants from St. Patrick’s National School, Letterkenny took part in the Junior Achievement “Ourselves” programme taught by Mary Elliott a volunteer from Donegal County Council. To round out a brilliant few weeks, Mary also organised a visit to the Central Library where the students were presented with the certificates and met Karen Gillespie who read them two wonderful stories.
Speaking about the experience of the Junior Achievement programme Teacher Roisin Gardiner commented:
“Mary is a fantastic volunteer, we really loved having her in the classroom. The children have learned so much from the programme. Many thanks for inviting us to visit the libraryto complete the programme, it was a fun-filled morning.”
