Cártaí Feasa agus Bain Triail as Leabhair do Leanaí as Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne

Beidh daltaí idirbhliana as Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne i nDaingean Uí Chúis, Co. Chiarraí ag coinneáil súil ‘fhíorúil’ ar an Eoraip an tseachtain seo agus iad ag réiteach do Chraobh na hÉireann de Chlár na gComhlachtaí Údarás na Gaeltachta, 2021 a reáchtálfar ar líne ar an 22 Aibreán 2021.

Beidh deis ag buaiteoirí Chraobh na hÉireann ionadaíocht a dhéanamh thar ceann na hÉireann ag Comhlacht na Bliana Chomórtas Junior Achievement na hEorpa, 2021 a reáchtálfar go fíorúil ar líne chomh maith i mí Iúil i mbliana de bharr srianta COVID-19.

Beidh iomaíocht ghéar idir 6 mhionchomhlacht as Dún na nGall, Maigh Eo, Gaillimh agus Ciarraí chun gradaim a bhuachan sa gCraobh. Craobh náisiúnta aon lae a bheidh i gceist i mbliana a reáchtálfar ar an 22 Aibreán 2021 agus beidh na daltaí ag ceangal isteach ón mbaile nó ón scoil agus ag cur a ngnó os comhair na moltóirí ar líne trí fhíseán ghairid réamhdhéanta, pleananna gnó agus agallamh.

Beidh na fiontair Cártaí Feasa’ agus ‘Bain Triail as Leabhair do Leanaí’ as Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne a bhuaigh Craobh Réigiúnach an Deiscirt den Chomórtas ag súil go rachaidh siad i bhfeidhm ar na moltóirí ag an gCraobh Náisiúnta chun an deis a thapú a bheith san iomaíocht ag Comórtas na hEorpa.

Is taithí phraiticiúil ghnó atá i gClár na gComhlachtaí Údarás na Gaeltachta atá á fhorbairt agus á sheachadadh trí Údarás na Gaeltachta i gcomhar le Junior Achievement Ireland (JAI) agus atá á mhúineadh do 750 dalta idirbhliana i gceantair Ghaeltachta trí Ghaeilge ag meantóirí gnó deonacha. Is í seo an tríú bliain go mbeidh deis ag buaiteoirí Chlár na gComhlachtaí Údarás na Gaeltachta páirt a ghlacadh i gCraobh na hEorpa den chomórtas.

Student Entrepreneurs in Kerry set their sights on European Entrepreneurial Final

Transition year students in the South from Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhe, Daingean Uí Chúis, Co. Kerry have set their ‘virtual’ sights on Europe this week as they make their final preparations for the All-Ireland Final of the Údarás na Gaeltachta Clár na gComhlachtaí Competition 2021 which will be held online on 22 April.

The winners of the All-Ireland Final will represent Ireland at the Junior Achievement Europe Company of the Year Competition 2021 which will also be held online in July due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Six student mini-companies from Donegal, Mayo, Galway, and Kerry will battle it out in this year’s national final. The one-day national final will see students logging in from home or school to present their businesses to the judges using a short promotional video, business plans and an in-depth interview.

Cártaí Feasa’ and ‘Bain Triail as Leabhair do Leanaí’ were established by students from Pobalscoil Chorca DhuibhneBoth won the joint honours at the Western Regional Final and both teams hope that they can impress the judges at the National Final in order to compete for European glory.

The Údarás na Gaeltachta Clár na gComhlachtaí programme is a hands-on business learning experience developed and delivered by Údarás na Gaeltachta in partnership with JA and is taught by business volunteers through the Irish language to 750 transition year pupils in Gaeltacht regions.

This is the third time that the winners of the Údarás na Gaeltachta’s Clár na gComhlachtaí will have the opportunity to participate at the European level of the competition.
