1st class from Scoil Mhuire, Milford, Co. Donegal went to visit the Milford Recycling Centre. They met with Eddie McCleary from Bryson Recycling, Martin Roarty and Caroline McCleary from Donegal Co Council. They were given a guided tour of the facility. The students were full of questions, all about what the recycled material gets made into. They learned that it gets made into a range of different things like water pipes and pencil made from old denim jeans and CD cases.
Class teacher Mrs. Mcgee expressed her “Thanks to Eddie, Caroline and Martin for a fun filled educational morning. Our students are very focused on recycling but the visit the site today has really reinforced the importance it.”
